March of Dimes

March of Dimes is an organization of which is nonprofit. It's also striving to better the health of mothers and babies as well. Founded on January 3, 1938 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, it was also known as the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis in order to fight polio. Today, the March of Dimes Organization centers its focus on both mothers and babies (whether born or unborn) with resources in which are educational. Examples of these are baby health, pregnancy, preconception and new motherhood.

Society for the Protection of the Unborn Children

Society for the Protection of the Unborn Children is an organization in the United Kingdom of which is pro-life. Pro-life goes against abortion, assisted suicide and various forms of birth control. The organization is also taking a stand against same-sex marriage. Founded in January 1967 in order to strike down the abortion bill, which was at the time, in the process of being debated at Parliament. In that same year, the bill went on to be the first and biggest profile concerning the 1967 Abortion Act. Their work is based off of the following natural justice principles in spite of political, religious or cultural beliefs:

*It's wrong to kill innocent human beings

*Everyone should be treated equally

*All human beings are people with civil rights

*Children deserve special protection and care

*The weakest in society must be protected by the law.

Novant Health

Novant Health is more than just a hospital within itself. It's a network in which four states are integrated with physician clinics and outpatient centers. More than 1,200 physician clinics and 25,000 workers are at 500 various locations. This also includes 14 medical centers and a combination of both outpatient facilities and physician clinics numbered by the hundreds. The location of Novant Health is at its headquarters in Winston Salem, North Carolina, which serves 4 million patients yearly. On July 1, 1997, both health services of Carolina Medicorp in Winston Salem and Presbyterian Health Services of Charlotte joined together to create this health center.
